Wendy Johnson Joins FierceMarkets Healthcare Team
WASHINGTON, DC - September 9, 2009 - FierceMarkets (http://www.fiercemarkets.com) today announced that it has added veteran industry journalist Wendy Johnson to lead the company’s healthcare team as part of its continued expansion and growth in the healthcare market. Johnson joins the company as group publisher.
A seasoned journalist and editor with more than 17 years of experience, Johnson previously served as Executive Editor for DecisionHealth and editor for HCPro. Working exclusively in healthcare publishing for the past 12 years, she has written and edited dozens of books for healthcare professionals on the topics of healthcare compliance, risk reduction, reimbursement, safety and quality improvement.
Johnson will oversee Fierce’s entire healthcare portfolio including the company’s flagship publication, FierceHealthcare, as well as FierceHealthIT, FierceHealthFinance, FierceMobileHealthcare, FierceEMR, and Hospital Impact, which have a combined readership of more than 122,000. She will be responsible for launching new titles, developing industry partnerships, and helping to identify new sources for revenue and audience acquisition.
